Medicinal Cannabis Farm Experience

From history to flavor, and from mountains to waterfalls, the Oriente Magical Tour is more than sightseeing — it’s a journey through the memory, resilience, and transformation of a region that has redefined its future.

This guided visit opens the doors to a medical cannabis farm that complies with all national and international regulations for flower production and export. Far from mass tourism, this is a truly off-the-beaten-path experience, ideal for travelers seeking authenticity, cultural immersion, and a direct connection with the territory.

The adventure begins in El Poblado Park in Medellín, the perfect meeting point for a journey into the natural, cultural, and transformative richness of Eastern Antioquia. The tour unfolds in the breathtaking landscapes of the Antioquian highlands, surrounded by green mountains, fresh air, and rural tranquility.

From there, we travel by private transportation to the farm (around 1 hour). Upon arrival, you’ll learn about the plant’s life cycle — from seed selection to harvest — and discover how Colombia is emerging as a leader in the global cannabis industry. A highlight of the visit is our terpene tasting session, where you can smell and experience the natural aromatic profiles of different cannabis strains. This multisensory activity helps you understand the plant’s medicinal benefits, its connection to wellness, and its potential to improve quality of life.

This experience is not just about the plant — it’s about the people and the land. Together with local experts, you’ll explore how rural communities have transitioned from informal and illicit economies to legal, regulated cultivation that generates income and builds peace. You’ll gain insight into the role cannabis plays in Colombia’s post-conflict process, crop-substitution programs, and the creation of dignified work opportunities.

We are the only tour authorized by this farm to provide a safe and educational experience for visitors. Our program combines safe biosecurity protocols with storytelling, scientific learning, and participatory activities. You’re not just observing, you’re engaging, learning, and tasting (optional).

Finally, we return to Medellín with our hearts full of learning, new flavors, and the satisfaction of having experienced a journey that combines nature, innovation, and culture, allowing you to see cannabis beyond the stigma, as an economic, medicinal, and sustainable opportunity.
