Explore a traditional Colombian market among busy hallways full of fruits, herbs, fish, and traditional dishes. You’ll learn about customs that are still alive to this day, such as the totumas, the fruit used as a bowl in the best-tasting soups of the Caribbean. Plus, some tips about special plants that have been used to heal during generations.
Live an intense and immersive sensory experience. The market is a bustling and chaotic place, filled with colorful stalls selling everything from fresh produce to handmade crafts. The smells of exotic fruits, spices, and seafood fill the air, while vendors shout out their wares and negotiate prices with customers.
The market can be overwhelming at first, but with the help of our guide, you can navigate the maze of stalls and get a glimpse of everyday life in Cartagena.
